Father Adel was born in Lebanon. He is the son of renowned journalists, Afif and Renee Nasr who are considered pioneers in journalism in the Gulf Countries. He spent his growing years in Lebanon. He finished his high school in Terra Santa College in Amman-Jordan. Thereafter he settled with his family in Friuli Venezia Giullia, in the north of Italy near Venice. Fr. Adel speaks Italian, Arabic and English.
Father obtained a degree in AB Philosophy at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas-Angelicum, Rome and did his further studies in Pastoral and Liturgical Sciences at the Institute of Santa Giustina in Padua, Italy.
Fr. Adel was ordained a priest on 27th September 1992 and was incardinated in the Dioceses of Concordia-Pordenone Italy, after which he was assigned to the Vice Parish of San Marco Co-Cathedral.
He has been the Parish Priest of three communities of Budoia-Pordenone from 1999 till 2010.
Some of his talents include Iconographic painting and teaching liturgical icon painting.
Fr. Adel is a promoter of dialogue between people belonging to different religions and cultures.
On 1st September, 2010, Father Adel joined the Vicariate, where he serves as Assistant Parish Priest at the Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait City.

Father Adel obtained his Licentiate in Canon Law in 2011 at the Institute of San Pio X-Marcianum in Venice.
Father Adel has also been appointed as Deputy of the Bishop of the Catholic Church for Public Relations.

The Vicariate of Kuwait is now the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia which includes Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The decree from the Holy See came into effect on May 31, 2011.
