Father Albert Saveriraj re-joined the Vicariate on 3 August 2008. He had earlier served in the Vicariate of Kuwait from December 2003 to January 2005.
He joined the Carmelite order in May 28, 1979. He made his First Profession on September 8, 1983 and Solemn Profession on May 27, 1990. He has written a book on St. Therese of Lisieux in Tamil titled : "Mouna Punnagaiyal".

Fr. Albert re-joined the Vicariate on 30 July 2008. He was assigned to the Cathedral Parish and later to the Comboni Mission Centre in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
On 9 July 2009, Fr. Albert was appointed as Chancellor of the Vicariate of Kuwait until 31st January 2011 in terms of canons 482 to 491 of the code of Canon Law.
On 29 January 2010, Fr. Albert was installed as the first Parish Priest of the newly erected St. Daniel Comboni Parish in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
Since January 2011, Fr. Albert serves as Assistant Parish Priest at St. Daniel Comboni Parish.
On 3 August 2012, Fr. Albert was appointed as Auditor and Notary for Matrimonial Cases of the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia.

The Vicariate of Kuwait is now the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia which includes Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The decree from the Holy See came into effect on May 31, 2011.
