1. On Sunday, 2nd June, the Day of Corpus Christi Solemnity, after the 5:45 PM English Mass, there will be Eucharistic Adoration in English in the Cathedral. This special Holy Hour has been requested by Pope Francis so that all the Bishops of the World can have it conducted especially in their Cathedrals. Kindly bring your Holy Hour Books. Only on that Sunday, June 2nd, there will be no English Mass at 7:00 PM. The English Mass at 8:00 PM. will be in the Holy Family Hall.

2. On Thursday 30th May, after the 6:30 PM. Mass, at the Grotto, there will be the English recitation of the Rosary and singing of the Litany in Latin.

3. Every Friday, at 6:15 AM, the Rosary is recited in English in the Cathedral, and at the Grotto, after the 6:00 PM Mass.

4. There are two white boxes placed at the back. You can make your contribution there for the new Bahrain Cathedral.

5. All those who are desiring to become Pastoral Helpers are kindly requested to register in the Sacristy. All the other Pastoral Helpers are also requested to register again.

6. There will be a Pilgrimage to the Holy Places in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal from 4th to 14th October. For more details contact the Salmiya Parish.

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. Every Saturday at 11:00 am, we celebrate the Mass in Spanish in the Virgin Mary Hall. We invite the Spanish-speaking community to participate in the Liturgy.

2. On Fridays at 5:30 pm, English Mass is celebrated in Jahra.

3. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel (inside the Cathedral) is reserved for parents with infants, during the Mass.

2. Youth, aged 13 to 17 years old, are invited to attend the Teens Encounter Program, "Let’s Go" on June 14 to 16, 2013 in Carmel School, Khaitan. For more details contact Jesus Youth volunteers or the parish office. This program is organized by the Jesus Youth.

3. There will be a Parish Summer Camp for children aged 5 to 12 years old from June 14 to July 26, 2013 in the Catechism block. Registration forms are available in the parish office and regisration fee is 1KD. For more details see the notice board.

4. A pilgrimage is arranged to the holy places in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal from October 4-14, 2013. For more details contact St.Therese Parish, Salmiya.

5. The Ahmadi parish family apostolate unit is conducting " A family enrichment seminar in English " for all the families on our parish on June 6, 2013 from 9AM- 1 PM in the church. Those who are interested kindly register your name in the parish office.

6. The Feast of St. Anthony & the 3rd Anniversary celebrations of POSA (Poor of St. Anthony) will be celebrated on June 14, Friday at the 8:30 AM Mass. There will be Novena prayers from June 5-13, 2013 at 6:00 PM. We are inviting parishioners with the name Anthony to register their names at the parish office. They will be participating in the offertory processions on the feast day. There will be a small function in celebration of POSA anniversary after the Mass. The parishioners are invited. The feast is organized by the POSA parish social committee.

7. Our Bishop Camillo Ballin is asking your help to finance the construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain. Kindly collect the envelopes in the parish office and put your love offerings in the Donation Box or hand them over to the parish priest. Bishop Camillo thanks you in advance for your generosity. God reward you a hundred-fold.

1. Today, we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity.

2. Friday, 24th May is the Feast of Mary, Help of Christians. It is also the Silver Jubilee of the First Profession of Rev. Fr. Francisco Pereira sdb. Seven Salesian Cooperators will take their Promise to belong to the Salesian Family. All are invited to join Fr. Franco, on this day, for the 6:15 pm (NOT 6:30 pm) Mass, as he thanks God for the wonders He has worked in his life. A Felicitation Program will follow at the IEAS Basement.

3. Today, 24th May, the Malayalam Mass will be celebrated at 8:15 pm.

4. The Altar Servers meeting of Saturday, 25th May is cancelled, due to school exams.

5. The monthly Renewal of Marriage Vows, which we could not celebrate on the second week of May, will be conducted on Friday, 31st May at the 6:30 pm Mass.

6. The Pre-Baptismal Seminar has been postponed from 3rd to 10th June.

7. We are pleased to inform you that we will be installing the Tabernacle in the Sanctuary and in keeping with liturgical norms, the images of our Lady of Perpetual Succour and St. Thérèse will be relocated from the Sanctuary to other areas of the Church.

8. Those interested in volunteering as Coordinators for the Thérèsian Summer Club, please register at the Resource Centre between 6 to 8pm, on or before 3rd June.

9. SPY is organizing a Talent Hunt Competition for Parishioners on Friday, 7th June from 3 to 8pm. Auditions will be held on 28th and 29th May. Last date for registration is 26th May.

10. Couples married in 2011 and 2012 are invited to a Couples Program on Thursday, 13th June from 6:30 to 9:30pm. The program includes a special Mass, enrichment session and fellowship. Children are welcome too. Coupons priced at 500 fils per family are available at the Resource Centre.

11. A humble appeal from His Lordship, Bishop Camillo Ballin seeking your financial help to build the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Bahrain. In order to partly defray the cost of construction, we request each family to contribute one KD per month for 12 months. Receipts will be issued to each donor on request.

12. Catechism Classes will conclude on 31st May, and, after the summer break, classes will resume on Friday, 6th September.

13. Our Parish is in need of additional Catechism teachers and those desiring to serve the Lord as Catechists are requested to contact the Parish Priest.

14. Volunteers are needed to help with the Children’s Retreat which will be conducted from the 20th to 22nd June at Don Bosco School. Those interested may register at the Resource Centre.

15. During the summer period, from 3rd June to 31st August, the daily 6:45 am and the Friday 11:30 am Masses are cancelled.

16. The monthly Malayalam Night Vigil will be conducted in the Holy Family Hall at the Cathedral on Tuesday, 28th May from 7:30 to 11:30 pm. Confessions start from 7:00 pm onwards.

17. A pilgrimage is organized to the holy sites in Italy, Portugal, France and Spain from 4th to 14th October 2013. For more information, kindly contact the Parish Priest.

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING

1. The (REVISED) Parish Office timings are as follows:
8:30 am to 11:30 am and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm or by appointment.
The office is closed on Fridays.

2. We request parents with infants to occupy only Room # 1 during the Mass.

3. Parishioners who bring their vehicles to Church are kindly requested to abide by Kuwait's traffic rules whilst parking so as to not inconvenience others.  "Do unto others, as you would have them do to you" should henceforth be our motto whilst parking.

1. The Feast of the Most Holy Trinity is on 26th May.

2. The feast of St. Augustine is on 27th, Monday.

3. The Night Vigil in Malayalam will be conducted in Holy Family Cathedral on 28th Tuesday from 7.30 p.m. Free transportation is arranged from our Parish at 7.00 p.m.

4. St. Paul’s Prayer Group will be conducting a special prayer service in Malayalam on 30th May to conclude the May devotion after the evening Mass in the Hall. Aspiring couples, expectant mothers and terminally ill people are invited to attend this prayer service.

5. The Holy Qurbana in Syro-Malabar rite will be celebrated by His Excellency Mar Sebastian Vadakel on 31st May, Friday at 6.30 a.m. in the Indian Integrated School.

6. KLCK will have a concluding Prayer Service of May Devotion on 31st Friday at 8.00 p.m. in St. Daniel Comboni Hall.

7. Those who are studying in the first standard in school or who were born on or before 30th September 2007 will be admitted in class one of the Catechism Class. You can collect the Registration form from the parish office. You are requested to submit the filled-in Registration form in the same office, along with the Baptism Certificate of the child and the Registration fee of K.D.10.000 as per the direction of our Bishop. The last date to submit the filled-in Registration Form is 14th June, 2013. For the other classes, registrations will be done at the beginning of August. The classes will begin on 13th September, 2013.

Next week will be the last class of Faith Formation for this year.

8. A special retreat is arranged for our Children on 26th, 27th and 29th of June, 2013. The parents are requested to take a special interest in the spiritual welfare of the children and send them for this retreat. Kindly register the name of your child next week at the parish office.

9. From 14th to 16th June, the Teens Encounter Program ‘Let’s Go’ will be held in Carmel School for youth aged 13-17 years. Those who are interested kindly register your name in the Parish Office.

10. We request your generous contribution towards the construction of our New Cathedral in Bahrain.
