1. The English Holy Hour will be on 5 th September, the First Friday, from 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
2. New admission for Grade 1 at the English Catechism classes is ongoing in the Good Shepherd Hall from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. every Friday until September 5 th . Annual fees for children who are already attending catechism classes will be accepted on these days. Kindly complete registration and payment of fees on the above given dates. English Catechism Classes will begin on Thursday, September 11th, at 6:30 pm for Grades 4 and 8. Classes for all other grades will start on Friday, September 12th, at 9:15 am.
3. The final days of enrollment for the Filipino Catechism Classes are today, August 29 th , and Friday, September 5 th , from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at St. John of Matha and St. Arethas Rooms, First Floor, Holy Family Co-Cathedral. Parents, please bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate at the time of enrollment. Classes will begin on September 12, 2025. No late enrollment will be accepted.
4. The Marriage Preparation Course in Malayalam will be on Fridays, 5 th , 12 th and 19 th of September from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in St Padre Pio Hall, Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish. Please register online in the AVONA website.

1. All English Catechism classes begin today, Friday, 29 th August. Those who have not yet registered, either new students or returning catechism children, are requested to register at the earliest.
2. The next additional English Holy Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 31 st August at 7:15 PM. (to be read on Friday & Saturday only)
3. Starting from September, the 7:15 PM Holy Mass will be celebrated permanently every Sunday. Going forward, there will be three English
Masses on Sundays:
6:00 AM
6:00 PM
7:15 PM
4. Friday, 5 th September is the First Friday of the month. The Eucharistic Adoration in different languages will follow the same schedule as before. The month of September is dedicated to the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Let us come together in prayer, reflecting on these seven sorrows, deepen our understanding of Mary's role in the story of salvation and draw closer to her compassionate heart.
5. We are looking for Pastoral Helpers to serve at English Masses ONLY. We especially encourage women to come forward as Pastoral Helpers. Those interested may contact Bro. Wilson at 66106922 or reach out to the Parish Office.
6. Our Parish Priest, Fr. Roswin, will be leaving Kuwait after serving our parish for 8 years, including 3 years as the Parish Priest. A special thanksgiving Holy Mass, to express our gratitude to the Almighty and to pray for his future mission, will be celebrated on Saturday, 13th September. Rosary will be prayed at 5:30PM, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Arabia and Holy Mass at 6:00PM. After the Mass, a Parish farewell program will be held in the Catechism Block. We warmly invite all parishioners to attend the 6:00 PM Holy Mass and the farewell program as we come together to thank Fr. Roswin for his dedicated service and bid him a heartfelt farewell.

1. We are in the 22 nd week of Ordinary Time. The Word of God invites each one of us to embrace the virtue of humility. True humility prepares us for our place in heaven.
2. The Novena in preparation for the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary begins from Saturday, 30 th August to Sunday, 07 th September. The Rosary will begin at 5.50 pm followed by the Novena, Prayers. The feast will be celebrated on
Monday 08 th September. Masses on 08 th September are at 5:45 am, 5:00 pm & 6:30 pm.
3. During the Novena for the Nativity of our Blessed Mother Mary, the Small Christian Community are collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries for the poor. The collected items shall be distributed to the poor of our parish. Collection Boxes will be
kept in the courtyard from 30 th August to 8th September 2025. Those who would like to make other contributions, kindly contact Fr. Joe or the parish office. Kindly be generous towards this cause. Coupons to receive the hampers will be distributed on 29 th August, 30 th August and 31 st August 2025 after each mass in the courtyard. Kindly bring your Civil ID to register.
4. The Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Monday 01 st September after the 6:30 pm Mass. All the members are expected to attend the meeting.
5. September 05 th is the First Friday of the month. The Holy Hour will begin at 6:00 pm followed by Mass at 7:05 pm.
The Novena prayers will be recited after the Holy Mass.
6. Due to the feast of Our Lady the Pre-Baptismal Seminar for the month of September will be conducted on Tuesday, September 09 th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Room No. 14. This course is obligatory for Parents and Godparents. The Seminar can also
be attended before the birth of your child. Kindly contact the Parish Office for further details.
7. Catechism classes will start from Friday, 5th September 2025 in Don Bosco Premises. The names of the Catechism students and their Class divisions are displayed in the church Courtyard and on the parish website. Kindly check to know which division your child is assigned to and his/her class teacher. The 10:00 am mass every Friday will be the children’s mass. Parents do encourage your children to attend the 10:00 am mass after catechism class.
